. F-urther comments on proposed | •improvement work at Waitarere | jBeach were received in a letter ] from the Waitarere Progressive J Society. It stated that apparentl-y 1 owih'& to the lapse of time since | the council's deputation visited the ! heaoh, there -was some misunder- j stauding. -It pointed out that the | foothpath asked for was in con- S juction with the main entrance to | the beach. The other f ootpath was | required because of the danger to | smalL children travelling from the | swings to the shops along Rua i A.^enue. The council had since 2 come to an agreement with the I society which he thought would | prove satisfactory, commented Mr. i Colquhoun.
