Want Children Banned From Certain Films
Received Thursday, 12. 3S a.m. * LONDON, Dec. 8. British film producers are askiug the censors to create a new "adult" certi licate banniiig children entirely from certain films. The request comes from members of the British Film Academv, a cultural group of leading produecrs, directors and screen writers. The producers complain that the present "A"' eertificatc allowing children under 1 G -tcr attend a cinema with adult escorts, places aii unfair onus on jiarents and liampers the studios' ell'orts to make really grownup films.
