Baby Seven Inches Long Expected to Live
. Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. LONDdN, Dec. 7. A ten weeks prematurely born baDy weigking only 20 ounces .and measuring seven incbes from head to toes, will, it is b'elieved, grow into a normal healthy child if all goes well in the next fortnight. The baby, swathed in cotton wool, is in an oxygen tent in the Southampton Maternity Home. A sister at the hospital said: "The medical authorities consider it is almpst impossible for a baby born more than two months prematurely, to live. Theoretically the baby should not be alive but this is her fourth day of existence."
