Boys With Ponies Cause Damage At Reserve
That boys on ponies were causing k damage at the Waiopehu Scenic Reserve was mentioned at Monday night's meeting of the Levin Borough Council. The overseer, Mr. E. Lycette, said that they were racing their ponies through the bush tracks, bringing down branches1 of trees and causing other such damage. He had ascertained that one of the boys he had caught.had been a member of the pony club. It was decided that the club be contacted and requested to inform its members to refrain from such practices.- ■
