Alteration In Test Cricket Dates

' CHRISTCHURCH; Dec. 5. The .secretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council (Mx. E. E. Luttrell), announced on Saturday that it had been necessary to amend the dates of most of the trial matehes to be held to assist in tlie selection of a teara to toiir England next year. The dates now are: — Auckland Minor Associations at Hamilton, January 1, 3 and 4; Wellington Minbr Associations at Palmerston North, December 30 and 31, January I; North Island Major Associations v. Minor Associations at Wellington, Janua-rj' 22, 2-1 and 25; South Island Minor -Associations at Christchurch, January 1, 3 and 4; South Island- Major Associations v. Minor Associations, Christchurch, -January 21, 22 and 24; New Zealand v. The Rest, January 27, 28 and 29. It was also announced that Mr. Warwick Watts, of Auckland, had been apr pointed baggage master for the team.
