BUILDINGS WRECKED AT PENAL COLONY.
Received Shnday, 7 p.m. MEXICO CITY, Dec. 4. An earthquake late yesterday destroyed 90 per cent of the buildings ' of the penal colony on the Marias Islands which f orm a small arehipelago off the west coast of Mexico. At least four were killed and many injured. Army aircraft are flying in medical relief supplies. None of the 400 prisoners attempted to escape during tlie q'uake but in November six escapees were killed in the water by machiiiegun fife from Army aircraft.
