! The November meeting of the Koputaroa Women's Institute 'drew a fair attendance of members. Those present stood in silence for a few moments in memory of-the iate Mrs. D. K. Guy, a former , vice-president. i Mrs. Firby gave a report on the committee meeting for the Kimberley Farm Christmas party. Arrangements were made for. the institute's own Christmas party. During the afternoon a very clear demonstration on 'the making of. raffia trays was given by Mrs. R. S. Brown. - / The results of the monthly-com-petitions were as follows:— Senior, chii-d's dress: Mrs. Chapman 1, Mrs. Sanson 2, Mrs. Keenan 3. Junior, oven cloth: Deborah Guy 1, Zoe Penny 2. Flower. — Senior: Mrs. Ching. Junior: Audrey Storey. Shrub: Mrs. Netten. The jhostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames Lancaster and Winter•burn.
