Another step forward, in inter-
club games was made 011 Saturday when the combined KoputaroaIhakara- team played us on our home courts. The games were one sided as far as the singles went, which should impress upon club members the. necessity for practice and regular attendance. • The game resulted in a win for the combined team by nine games to seven. C.ub practices are to be held every Thursday evening and' it is hoped that there will be a ful'l at-.endance. •Next Sunday morning the club is having a working bee, so all are asked to come along and not leave the work to the same old few. The ;work will be to the eventual good of the courts so don't forget to be there at 9.30 a.m.
