Recruiting In Britain For New Zealand Army
i WELLINGTON, Nov. 11. Up to Oetober 30, 413 applications had been received in Britain for entry into the New Zealand Army, said an . officer at Army Headquarters today. The officer was eommenting on the" eable message from London which said that though. the New Zealand military liaison staff in London was endeavouring to enlist 250 army tradesmen and technicians for service with the New Zealand regular forces, only ten meh ' had been secured in six weeks: Sinee August 21 applications had been re- : ceived at rates varying betwe^A 12 to 74 per week.
