■ - • WELLINGTON, November 12. With the New Zealand Cup a week away, all eyes will be on.Beau le Havre.at Feilding tomorrow, as a great de&l will depend on his performance in the- Manchester Handicap as to his prospeets in the big Cup race. At present he is a warm Cup favourite and a good showihg to!morrow will enhance his Cup prospeets. In the Levin Handicap he had the worst~of the! running, stumbling after ciipping the heels of another horse at the endof about a furlong or so, putting him out of his stride. He had to race wide all the way, but, finished with a burst of speed to carry himfrom the back to fourth place. Given better Iuck tomorrow Beau le Havre should win.
The • Flying Handicap should provide Voltaic with an excellent opportunity of regaining the winning list. He is a class sprinter and as tomorrow's field is not a particularly strong one, he should give a good account of himself. Voltaic is just about at- the peak of his best form, which is class. Visitors to the Waikato meeting at Te Rapa tomorrow . are the Otaki-frained Castlebrae, a strong fancy for the S'tewards' Handicap at Riccarton next week, Lady Myrtle and The Stormovik.
