A Post Pfice checker noticed that tlie seallug o\i tlie insured pareels liag liad been fampeied with and vvlicn tlie contents vyere checked against customs declaraf.ion at the Chief l-'ost Oiiice, it. was fo'und that the watches were missing. The consignment had lieen sent from .Twitzerlaiid and included in .pareels of rnafl -vvheu the Waiwera loaded- at Liverpoo! for New Zeaiand.
