Atlantis Will Bring 900 Immigrants
Received Fridav, 7 p.m. LOXDOX, Nov. 5. The Xew Zealand emigration ship Atlantis, whieh has been undergoing an I oxtensive overhaul and conversion, will | sail from Tilbury on Xovember 30 with j 900 passengers including 702 assisted emigrant.s — 491 men and 271 women. } The remainder o±'s the liner's accommo- | dation will be ta'ken up by sponsored I passengers. All the dormitories on the | Atlantis have now been converted into cabins, The shi]^ originallv intended to have sailed from London several weeks ago but reconversion work was delayed owing to a go-slow strike among engineers in the London docks.
