Solos Sung At Marriage Ceremonies
WELLINGTON, Oet. 4. The report of the church worship committee received by the GeneraJ Assembly of the Presbyterian Chureh, drew attention to a book on chureh musie by Rev, G. Dallard, of Alexandra. One of the points urged asfa ground for the publication of a bobklet on church music, was that some of the solos sung at marriage serviees wero not up to the standard of the chureh service. The report said they might be fitting at a soctal function but they were certainly in&ppropriate at the solemnisation of a, marriage.
