Celebrated Choir's Visit Levin residents are to be favoured with a complimentary visit from the celebrated Wellington Tory Street Choir, which will appear in the Regent Theatre on Sunday at 7.30 p.m., in the full strength of its 45 members-, in voluntary support of the Second Advent Campaign at present .being conducted. The choir,. "under the qualified baton of Mr. B. N. Coppin, head.master of the Tawa Flat School, has given excellent renderings in broadcasts for some years, gpd their recordings are- u'sed by man'yreligious bodies and are greatly" appreeiated. A fuh haif-hour programme at tl^e comiiibncement on this occasion includes a section of the "Messiah,"' and a fairly recent addition to the personnel is a famous Indian Bass baritone, bel-ieved to compare with Paul Robeson. The campaign committee is to be congratulated on securing such outstanding talent and the people of Levin and district will 110 doubt show their appreciation of this gesture of goodwill on the part of the visiting vocalists and musicians. The Second Advent campaign is' non-sectarian in its endeavours for the good of the community. and large numbers are attending the prophetic lectures.
