AUCKLAND, Nov. 1. Three of Auckland 's( leading amateur boxers each scored a win in his first professional fight wlien a tripie bill programme was presented in the Town Hall tonight. The- New Zealand light-heavyweight amateur champion, Barney Clarke, 12st. 21b., won a points decision over Peter Cochrane, 12st., in the , main bout, an eight-round contest. In two six-round welterweight preliminaries, Doug. Godward, lOst. 71b., won in the .third round on a technical knockout, from Joe Grift'iths, lOst. 5Mb. Niel Stanley, lOst. bllb., knocked out Doug. Heiidrv, of Waihi, lOst. 71b., in the second round.
