Stage Star Gets Film Break
The New * York stage and radio star, Berry Kroeger, has at -last got his film break. He has been selected for one of the top roles in "Act of Violence," which co-stars Van Heflin and Robert Ryan. Kroeger will portray Johnny, Soft-spo'ken but grim killer-for-hire, forming the third Slde of the tense triangle with Heflin and .Ryan. Others in the cast are Janet Leigh, Mary. Astor, Phyllis: Thaxter and Connie Gilchrist.'
