Joan Caufield is considered to be a unique personaiity by cinema f.ans, because she rose to fame With scarcely any trouble at all. Now starring opposite Claude Rains in Michael Curtiz Productjons thriller "The Unsuspected," Miss Caulfield was discovered for the stage while contendly modelling for the Conover agency. She became a leading lady on Broadway after playing but two minor roles, and after crashing Hollywood by invitation, with all expenses paid, she gained steilar rating in her very first picture, "Miss Susie Slagie's." Tyrone Power has bought a complete set of records to try and learn the Itaiian language.
