pROM Fiji comes a story that tp discourage dog owners and souvenir hunters, every bone of a skeletpii . nsed in .a jscene for The Blue Lagoon was rubber-stamped by a Pinewood property man. Hp was particularly cautious because
skeletons which, before the war, were easily obtaipabl.e from India, are now so difficult' to get that they can only be hired, and not bought outright. How.ever, the photographers didn't think mucb pf the idea. The blue. letters "Property
of Denham and Pinewood Stpdios" stamped on the bones to protect the interests . of the owners, cut down the number of angles from which the technicolour cameras could photograph the skeleton.
