School Lunch Hour Changed As Safety Measure

As a safety measure, the acting headmaster of the Levin School, Mr. P. D. Chapman, has decided that the children's lunch hour commence at 11.55 a.m. instead of at noon. By this means the necessity of the children having to travel' through the lunch hour traffic, the heaviest of the day, will to a large extent be eliminated. The measure will continue as long as it proves satisfactory, The children will retum to school at -- 1.10 p.m. instead of the usual, 1.15 1 p.m.
