Sixth Paralysis Death In Wellington

WELLINGTON, Oct. 4. The 'de'ath of a Wellington man, aged 23, who entered hospital with poliomyelitis an September 30, was reported today. The previ■ous deaths in the Wellington Health District have been a girl of 19, a woman of 34, a man of 36, a boy of six and a man of 20, so that the district's incidence of deaths to date is five adults to oue chil'd. In the course of the weekend one further case, a 20-year-old Wellington woman, was reporte'd and today a Petone case of a boy of three was reporte'd. There' are 62 cases of poliomyelitis in the Wellington Public Hospital today, 42 of which are in isolation. There are also six suspects.
