Building Costs Dropping
Building costs were commg down, in his opinion, said the Minister of Rehabilitation (Mr. Skinn'el') at a meeting of the Rehabilitation Council recently. He knew of many ex-servicemen who were getting their houses built within the rehabilitation loan limits. Every day the timber supply position was improving, he said, and with the exception of* cert'ain dressing grades timher was fairly freely available. The supply of other materials Was also improving, except nails and wire of all' kinds.
