Mr. A. J. Harper has been appointed Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs. He replaces Mr. J. W. Heenan, who will retire at the con-" clusion of the Royal tour next ' year. — Press Assn. Mr. T. T. Repiha has "been appointed Under-Secretary of Maori Affairs. He was the first Maori to hold this position in more than 100 years of Maori administration and replaces Mr. G. P. Shepherd, who retired recently. — Press Assn.
