Keen Bidding At National Jersey Bull Sale
HAMILTON, Sept. 17. Over 140 Jersey bulls, representative of the leading studs of the Dominion, were on offer at the 26th annual national bull sale at Claudelands Showgrounds. Particularly keen bidding was experienced over the first day, when 64 bulls realised an average priee of 91£ guineas, with a top price of 355 guineas. This price was given by the Cambridge breeder, Mr. D. O. Murray, for the seven-year-old . bull Oddicombe Prospector, sold on account of Messrs. J. McGregor and Sons, Ngahinapouri. On the second day 58 bulls averaged 85 guineas, the highlight of the auction being the keen demand.for bulls from Messrs. F. B. Bryant and Sons, of Mangatainoka, nine of whose entries averaged 141 guineas, with a top price of 210 guineas, paid by Messrs. G. and E.i Worthmgton4 MaimgatulptOj
