Malaya Terrorism
Received Tuesday, 10.25 a.m. . SINGUPORE, Sept. 14. -The- police last month frustrated many plots to bring terrorism to Singapore Island, the Governor, .Sir Franklin Gimson, told the Singapore Legislative Council today. Vigilant police received much information regarding terrorist plotting and rpunded up many plotters. The newspaper Malay Mail reports from Kuala Lumpur that planters mnd miners throughout the Federation have been warned to be partieularly on guard for the next few weeks as the terrorists would probablv endeavour to exploit the situation before reinforcements arrived from England. In Johore today, three Malays armed -with kuives, fought back when held up by two armed Chinese and one "Indian . terrorist.
