X-dairy cows and heifers comprising: — 20 cows' recently calved, 10 due'Sept., early Oct., 10 I.C. heifers. NOTE. — The above offering has much to commend it to the farming community. Mr. Galloway's objective has over the years been production without the sacrificing of constitution: to attain this, expense has not been spared in the selection of the best B.F. backed bulls procurable. A S.H. bull purchased from Messrs. Brown & Son with the backing of 750 lbs. fat was used as herd sire for a number of years — this was followed hy * a Jersey bull from the "Lancewood" Stud with a backing of $16 lbs. fat. The cows are in great order and are free from mastitis, and no calving trouble has been experienced.'
