Pioneer Flight Recalled
Memories of an England-Austra-lia pioneer flight of nearly 20 years ago were revived for Mr. H. L. Piper, of Kent, England, when he flew over Rotorua this week in the aircraft in which he and Ah'-Com-modore C. E. Kay, R.N.Z.A.F., made the trip. The single-engined monoplane, a Desoutter, they used is still being flown by a Rotorua firm. . _
