HOUSE PASSES BILL

The testamentary intentions of the late Mr. Henry Playford, a retired farmer, of Levin, who left land to the Levin Borough Council for public purposes, were implemented by a private Bill called the Levin Borough Empowering (Playford Park) Bill whicfi the House of Representatives passed yesterday. Mr. Maher (N., Otaki) was in charge .of the Bill. The Bill was passed without amendment.
