RUSSIANS FIRE ON CROWD OF GERMANS

Received Friday. 11.10 a.m. LONDON, Sept. 9. Russian tommy-gunners fired into a crowd of German civilians in Berlin today, wounding at least live, including a ten-year-old boy. The shooting followed an anti-Communist rally of 200,000 Berliners in Republic Squaiv, in front of the ruined Reichstag in ihe British sector. The British United Press' Berlin correspondent says that ten Russiau tommy-gunners, as well as several squads of Russian sector German police, fired a number of volleys at the crowd. The heaviest bursts of fire, involving at least 60 shots, came from inside the Russian sector, but a Russian Lieut.Golonel admitted to British safety ofiicers that the Russians fired" at least three shots while inside the British sector.
