Frigates Almost Ready For N.Z. Navy
> -WELLINGTON, Sept, 7, The ftrst four Loch class frigates for the New Zealand Navy, are expected to finish their fmal trials in Britain this month, said a Navy Office official today. Al though no definite date liad been set, it seeroed eertain that they would be ready to leave for New Zealand in October and arrive some timo in November. It was stated that the four frigates would take part in the celebrations during the Royal tonr of New Zealand, After their arrival the ships ' companies would be given home-coming leave and would then undergb a period of intensive training in pfeparafcion for the tour. The route to be taken on the voyage from Englaod has not yet been : decided by the Naval Bbard,
