" lt was test ed over I raq deserts and flew for hundreds of miles, and tlien tlie wholecidea was ofiicially abandoned. This is i'e\ealel in a book of the Royal Aii*raft Establishment at Farnborough, published today bv the Stationery Office. The Larynx was designed to earry 2o()lbs. of ex-plosives at about l.in m.p.h. It. was partly eontroiled by radio.
