Ambulance's Vain Trip
A report that a woman had been seriously burned in an accident on Kawau Island, caused a St. John ambulance to make a 90-mile round trip to Warkworth on Saturday night. At Warkworth the . ambulance officer was informed the woman was being treated| on t.he island, and that the trip' had been made unnecessarily.
