PersonaJ Mr. and Mrs. Dowling, who recently arrived from England, via the United States, arrived in Shannon on Saturday evening and are staying with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs, L. Schwabe, of Whitanui. Moutoa Recreation Club The( Moutoa Recreation Club is at preseht .conducting a series of dances in the Moutoa Hall to raise funds for the purchase of equipment. Its most recent function was a great success with followers of dancing being present from Shannon and Foxton.. A competition dance conducted during the evening was won by Mrs. Kenny and Mr. I. Hermansson. The next. dance will be held on September 25, .
