RESOLUTION That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 168 of "The Counties Act, 1920," the Horowhenua County Council on the petition. of a majority of the ratpp.ayers of the district hereinafl'er mentioned, resolves and declares, by way of special order, as follows:— ;• "(1) The part of the County of Horowhenua described in the Schedule herefco is hereby declared to be a district for the purpose of' the construction and maintenance of drainage works therein. i2) The name of the said district shall be the Mangaone Drainage District. (.3) This special order shall take effeet on the 8th day of September, 1948.
