Received Sunday, 7 p.m. AMSTERDAM, Sept. 4. Queen Wilhelmina chas relinquished the throne to her daughter and has be'■|inie her Royal Highness, Princess of tlie Netherlands. The signing of the, abdication was attended by Princess .ruliana, her liusband Prince Bernhard, Cabinet Ministers, and members of delegations from Indonesia and the Dutch West Indies. Following the signing Queen Wilhelmina said goodbye from the Palace balcony to thousands massed below. She will make oue public appearance at the investiture of Queen Juliana on September 6 and then pass from public life. The first proclamation signed "Juliana, Queen of the Netherland, " was read from the balcony of the Palace by Queen Jqliana herself. She told the Indonesians: "I trust that in my reign the new relationship will hnd a harmonious form which fits that which is Ijving and grovving In your midst. " Queen Juliana made her first triumphal tonr of Amsterdam after the .balcony ° ceremony. She rode in a cr.eam open coach drawn bvvsix horses.
