Plastic Tiles

The first British plastic tile has recently appeared on the market, manufactured by Messrs. Stone a,nd Siiiimonds. Made in poiystrene ahd injec-tion-moulded, the tile is light (Hozs.) and is-generally considered to be an improvement on' its porce'lain predecessor. It measures 6 ins. square and can easily be stuck to concrete or wood. It is unaffected by moisture or soap and is therefore wdil suited to bathroom use iri its inany attractive coiours. An added advantage over other tiles is that the plastic product is not breakable if dropped on wood or lino floors.
