Ohau Withstands Strong Shield Challenge The Ohau Miniature Rifle Club successfuliy defended the Bebbington Shield against a strong challenge from the Poroutawhao Club on Monday. The issue was in doubt until the last squad fired and the' good marksmanship of S. Aanensen, J. G. Plorn, Senr., W. McKenzie, F. Haley, F. Catley and J. G. Horn, Junr. put the resmt beyond doubt, Ohau scoring 1453, the -second. highest in the, whole series. The only Poroutawhao marksmen to show form were J. Graham (100) and S. Lumsden (99).
