■ AUCKLAND, Sept. 1. "I am naturally delighfed that the Games are to be held in Auckland and we are now going to get busy to ensure their suceess, " said the Mayor of Auckland, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, when informed tonight of the decision of the Olympic Association. "It will be a great event for Auckland because it^ will mean we will have visitors from all parts of the Empire. I am sure Auckland will rise to the occasion. "
