Tlie board 's ob.jeet is uo.t ouly to enabtc promising students lo seeuro speeialised i raiuing but equally to eneourage thom to return to tlieir eountry of origin on comph'l ion of the eourse. In Nevt Zeaiand two sueh scholarships will In avaiiable 'amiually on the reeommendation of the Board of Hxaminers. Each seholarship will be of the value of £20(1 per ananui for three vears' study at oni of the Royal .Sehools in London. In addition the board will provide the student with a passage baek to Now Zeaiand nt the end of the eourse. Eimilar sehoiarships are being offered j i n Gauada, We'st Iudies, GeylOn. 'Malaya, India, Pakistan and Kenya. •Tlie eondit ions for Australia and Eoutli Afriea are still under consideration.
