Golf Sub-associations
NEW PLYMOUTII, August 31. Taranaki and lviiig Country are likely to be combined in a provinciaJ golf sub-association in the near fnture and it is also probable that the Wanganui and Manawatu district will form another sub-association. What elfect the formation of these new snb-associations will have upon the present organisation of West Coast (North Island) golf under which a West Coast teani drawn from Taranaki, Wanganui and Manawatu plays matc-hes against Auckland knd Wellington sides, has not yct been seriously eonsidered. The progress with the linking of Taranaki and Tving Country, has gone far enough to result in the inclusion of T. P. Jones (Taumarnnui) in the Taranaki qnota for the West C'oast teani to play Auckland at New Plvmonth next weekend.
