The meeting then passed the following lnqtipnin— "That tftis ) quarterly meeting of thp Lpyin : R-S-A. expresses to Mr. H. R. Bui'r dekin its sincere cQngratulatipns on his eleGtion to the high offfce of the Dominjon vice-president of the N.Z.R.S.A. a,nd its best wishes for an enjoyabile term of office. This meeting also de'sires to place on record'the services repdered by Mr. Burdekin to the New Zealand association over the past 28 years and to the Levin branch since his arrival in this tpw,n ten years ago, of which services his recent election is a well merited recognition." He appreciated the kind remarksj and the way they had been rpceived, said Mr. Burdekin in reply.
