Hateley, Mangaore, for the weekend. ' 1 No Unusual Demand for Sugar - Although sugar was "off the ration" list yesterday, local grocers report that there was no great demand, most eustomers making purchases of six pound lots. One bag was the only large quantity sold by one grocer. It is expected, however, that the demand will increase during the jam making season.
