Social Marks End Of Term At College
A social and dance was held to mark the end of the term for pupils and staff of the Horowheiiua College. Over 300 were present at the function, which was held in the assembly hall. Dance muSic was supplied by a three-piece band with Miss Doris Cleal at the piano. The band cOmpfiSed three old boys, Messrs. C. Webb (drums), R. Robinson (trumpet) and P. McMinn (saxaphone) . . Opportunity was taken during the .programme . by twp. old gjrjs, Misses- Carol' Lynch and Eunice Catley, to present to Miss Chap-man-Cohen a cup donated by themselves as a trophy for the winners of the basketball competition. 6
