The iniportance of sucli planningj has long been stressed by military i strategisls who feel that the Aretewastelands of far northern Canada would be the "Xo laan 's land'' of anv I future aerial war with Russia. Mr. Forrestall said he and Mr Brooke flaxton, Canada 's Minister of Xational Defence, agreed informally on a plan to exchange military infonnation "on a luoad general basis.
