The League of Mothers held. its afinual " "meeting" • recently-, .when. MrS;, C. Nichpf presided over a gpod attendance of members. An admission service was held and 'three new members were enrphed and welcomed into the league. Mrs. Nichof gave a feport of the last provfnoial meeting in Wellington and intimated that the annual :provincial meeting would be held in' Wellington on * September 30, rwhen 'it"was hoped that as many members as; possible would attend. ";A l'etter of greeting was read from a former memb'er, Mrs. R. .Murray, of Whakatane." Mrs. Mercer- gave a oomprehensive rppor-t of the year's work and special fcfianMs- Wefe aceorded" Mrs. G.
