Location of Empire Games In New Zealand
WELLINGTON, August 18. ' It has bcen decided by the administrative connnittee of the New Zealand Olympic and British Empire Games AssOciation, to convene a meeting of the executive committee on Wednesday,- September 1, to decide on the venue of the 1950 British Empire Games— Auckland or Christchurch. This was: announced in a statement issued by the ' administrative committee tonight. The local committees of thesc two eities are being aslced for further information and Small deputations from the Auckland and Christchurch committees are being invited to _attend the meeting to support their claims.
