Figuring in the current television boom in the United States, not only^ as an actress, but also as a "Wciter and director, is Miss Marcia Hai't, formerly of Napier. Miss Hart left Nap:er nine years ago, and went to Melbourne, where she made her mark in the radio world. • - ■' Last August she left for America and before long was 'acting before the television eamera in Chicago. She was assigned the leading roles in two major produetions, and is now fulfilling acting and production engagements with an associate station. Previously these television stations leaned heavily on sports for their programmes, but since the arrival of Miss Hart drama has played a more prominent role.
