GISBORNE, August 18. Noel Fitzwater, of Hastings, 10.31, defeated Peter Grahani, of Gisborne, 9-1 21, 011 points in an eight-round pfafe.ssional welterweight light tonight*. Grahani neglected to use the advantages of height and reach and Fit-z-water gradually built up points with a tvvo-hauded attack to the bodv and head against which the Gisborne man had no etl'ective counter. Grahani looked rocky in tlie seventh but recovered well to Tight a good final round though well behiml on points.
