Party For Bride Elect
On a recent afternoon, Mrs. R. R. Lind and-Miss Lois;'Lind arranged a jolly "beetie" party i'or Miss Annette Mitchell, who is snortly tp be married. Many friends assembled in the lounge, which was gay with flowers and made cheery by a biazmg fire And bright sunshine. Mrs. A. F. Edmonds and Mrs. W. L. Carter tied for the "beetle" competition, the former winnmg the draw. She very graciously presented her prize to Miss Mitchell. During the afternoon Mrs. S. W. Barber, accompanied by Mrs. F. Oj Burtt, sang a bracket of pleasing songs and Miss Lois Lind gave very much pleasure with her elocutionary items, with their topical references. Miss Mitchell was the recipient of a profiision of gifts for which she thanked the gathering. The afternoon concluded with many expressions of goodwill for t'he bride-to-be.
