Horowhenua Pony Club Holds Special Meeting
A meeting of the Levin branch of the Horowhenua Pony Club was held on Thursday last for the purpose of arranging the commencing date for the 1948-49 -seaspny It was decided that .six rallies- be* held before Christmas, the dates b.eing as follows: August 21, September- 4, September 18, October 16, November 20 an December H. Copies of the proposed programme fpr" these rallies were distributed to rpembers of the committee an.d copies will be forwarded to the other branches. Moutoa branch have advised that they may be holding a' Gymkhana on November 13 and the local ohjb has promised to give its full suppprt. The annuai meeting w.ill be held early ndxt month and due notice of this will appear- in the "Chronicle.55 Members of the branch are' advised that club badges have now been received and will be on sale to members on gaturd'ay next. The priee~o£ the badges will b,e 3s for the badge plus 9,d for the g-rade lgtter to which ea»h member is qntitled.
