LONDON, August 15. One .possible result of the alnios' loinplete absencc of really hot summer weather this year has been that . very few cases of poliomyelitis hax^ been .•eported in the United Kingdom. During tlie two lniddle weeks of July only 75 cases were reported in the wholo countrv. Last year, during tlie corresponding period, there were 500 cases.
